For the past five years, Champps Americana has been fortunate enough to take part in an incredible event. “Kaden’s Wish” just might be the highlight of our entire year!

On Saturday, November 4th, 2017, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin and Champps will come together once more to help make more wishes come true for children in need. Join us for some great food and drink specials and some amazing Silent Auctions.

Kaden Stark is a 12-year-old Make-A-Wish recipient who decided that he, along with his family, wanted to start an annual fundraiser that could provide hope and inspiration to other children by providing them with the “wish” that he was granted by Make-A-Wish Wisconsin in 2011.

Kaden suffers from a rare form of mitochondrial disease, an affliction that causes a lack of energy to the brain. That lack of energy production causes Kaden to have difficulty with his motor functions as well as battling frequent seizures. This disease is progressive and there is no known cure. With advanced Dystonia (involuntary contraction of muscles) progressing, Kaden must attend regular physical, occupational and speech therapy.

His dad, Steve Stark, has known challenge throughout his life, as he is a member of the 1994 Wisconsin Badgers Rose Bowl Championship team and a former team captain. He and his wife Miki share a passion for family, love and life. They along with their three other children, have never backed down from the challenge of raising a child with special needs.

Over the past five years through the “Kaden’s Wish” event at Champps, they have raised enough money to granted 25 wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. With your help we can recognize the strength of this family, and more importantly, Kaden, as we celebrate his passion for life.

Please consider donating an item to our Silent Auction. 100% of all proceeds raised will be utilized for Kaden and his family, in conjunction with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin to provide wishes for children in need.
